How does SkinPen work?
SkinPen is a micro-needling device that creates “micro” skin punctures in the top layer of skin (dermis). These tiny punctures trigger the reparative power of your body’s natural wound healing response which, in turn, increases collagen production. Increased collagen production results in smoother skin tone and texture, smaller pore size, and reduction of wrinkles, scars, and fine lines.

How many treatments do you need?
Most people require a series of 3 treatments every 4 weeks for optimal results. Deeper wrinkles, advanced sun damage, or acne scars may require 6 or more treatments. Your clinician will determine what is best for you during your consultation.
Is there downtime after a SkinPen treatment?
Most people will have some slight swelling and pinkness or redness (like a mild sunburn) for 2 to 4 days. Some patients heal completely in 24 hours.
When will you see results from a SkinPen treatment?
The natural repair process can take several weeks to months. Many clients felt that their skin appeared healthier looking almost immediately. Final results may appear up to 3-6 months after your final treatment.
